Clear terms for using LearnStack.

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using LearnStack, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a LearnStack account. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use LearnStack only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Schools, teachers, parents, and guardians are responsible for any additional consent or notice required for student use.

LearnStack uses the birth date entered during signup only to determine an age band. The birth date itself is not saved by the current account flow.

• The current LearnStack account is stored in the browser where it is created. It is not a cloud-synchronized account unless LearnStack expressly adds that capability.
• You are responsible for entering accurate account information, protecting access to your device, and keeping your password confidential.
• You may not impersonate another person, use an email address you are not authorized to use, or attempt to bypass paid-feature verification.
• You can use the in-app Delete my account/data control to remove the local account and LearnStack browser data from that device.

LearnStack uses artificial intelligence to generate or analyze some questions, answers, explanations, references, similar problems, feedback, and rubric criteria. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or fabricated.

• Review AI-generated content before relying on it, sharing it with students, or using it for assessment.
• LearnStack is a study aid. It does not replace teachers, official course materials, professional judgment, or qualified medical, legal, financial, or safety advice.
• Do not submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so and understand that applicable content may be sent to LearnStack service providers for processing.
• References generated by AI should be checked against the original source before citation or academic use.

• LearnStack Pro is offered at $3.99 USD per month, and Teacher Mode is offered at $8.99 USD per month, unless a different price is clearly shown before checkout.
• Payments are processed through Stripe-hosted Checkout. Stripe's terms and privacy practices also apply to payment processing.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the disclosed billing interval until canceled.
• Deleting local LearnStack account data does not cancel an active Stripe subscription. Contact LearnStack at djoseb2007@gmail.com for billing or cancellation assistance.
• Except where applicable law requires otherwise, fees already charged are not refundable solely because local browser data was deleted.

• Teacher share codes are temporary. Anyone with a valid code may access the shared test while the code remains active.
• Teachers are responsible for reviewing shared content, distributing codes only to intended recipients, and complying with school rules and applicable student privacy requirements.
• Do not place confidential student information in shared tests, prompts, rubrics, or answers.

You may not:

• Use LearnStack to violate law, school policy, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or another person's rights.
• Upload malware, deceptive files, unlawful content, or content you do not have permission to process.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security, access controls, rate limits, subscriptions, or technical restrictions.
• Use shared codes or another user's device to access data without authorization.
• Represent AI-generated content as verified fact when you know or reasonably should know that it has not been checked.

You retain any rights you already hold in content you submit. You authorize LearnStack and its service providers to process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the requested feature. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.

LearnStack may change, suspend, or discontinue features, enforce usage limits, correct errors, or update these Terms. Material changes should be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

LearnStack is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. LearnStack does not guarantee that content is accurate, that every feature will be uninterrupted, that a particular academic result will occur, or that generated material will match an instructor's requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LearnStack and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, grades, opportunities, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
