LEARNSTACK Back to LearnStack

Terms of Use

The terms for learning, practicing, sharing tests, and using paid features in LearnStack.

Effective and last updated:

Key points: LearnStack is a study aid, not an official exam or professional adviser. Saved progress primarily lives in your browser. Paid plans renew until canceled. Deleting local data does not cancel a subscription. The full terms below explain these points.

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms govern LearnStack at learnstack.co, including Learn lessons, Practice, checks, tests, reviews, Pro Mode, Teacher Mode, and related services. "LearnStack," "we," and "us" mean the provider of the LearnStack service, contactable at djoseb2007@gmail.com.

By using LearnStack or accepting these Terms during account creation or purchase, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If acting for a school or organization, you must have authority to do so.

The Privacy Policy explains information processing. Acknowledging it is not blanket consent to every use of personal information; any separate permission required by law must still be obtained.

We keep identifier-free daily service counters for requests, errors and response-time ranges to operate a reliable service. These are separate from optional visitor or account-linked measurement and do not establish unique users, learning completion or payment success. See service operations and privacy. These Terms do not waive your privacy rights or replace consent where required.

Optional analytics is a separate choice. Agreeing to these Terms does not permit optional measurement. You can use learning, account and paid features with optional analytics off. Where you separately allow it and confirm you are at least 13, first-party measurement may associate campaign codes and learning-event categories with a pseudonymous signed-in account. Use Privacy choices to change permission or request account-linked analytics deletion; see analytics details and retention. Do not put personal or student information in campaign parameters. Analytics does not certify learning, exam results, or advertising outcomes, and incomplete measurement is not evidence that a user did not learn.

2. Age and permission

LearnStack is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 to create an account or submit personal information. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Do not use LearnStack where applicable age or consent requirements are not met.

Signup asks for a 13-or-older confirmation, not verified age checking or a full birth date. Teachers and schools must assess the service and obtain permissions required for student use. Teacher Mode does not replace school agreements, parental permissions, or student-privacy obligations.

You must be authorized to use the payment method supplied. An authorized adult should handle purchases when a minor cannot legally enter the payment agreement.

3. Accounts and saved progress

  • Guests and verified accounts. You can study as a guest on this browser. When verified account sign-in is available, email and password let you access your account name from another device. Learning progress is still saved mainly in each browser and does not automatically follow your account. An older browser-only profile is not a verified account or a cloud backup.
  • Autosave and resume. Where supported, lessons, answers, and test sessions can be resumed from available browser data. Autosave is not a guarantee against loss: private browsing, storage limits, browser eviction, clearing site data, or device loss can remove progress. Server-backed sessions and share codes can expire.
  • Optional recovery and cloud saving. Bounded browser recovery copies and manual downloads do not guarantee recovery. Cloud study saving, if enabled, requires a separate explicit choice; signing in alone does not upload your work. Review conflicts before replacing either copy. Deleting browser data does not delete an uploaded cloud copy. Use the cloud deletion control or contact us for assistance.
  • Remote processing. AI generation, secure assessments, billing, and sharing use server services described in the Privacy Policy. Local progress storage does not mean all activity stays on your device.
  • Your responsibilities. Provide accurate information, use only an email address you are authorized to use, protect your credentials and device, and do not impersonate others. On shared devices, use a separate browser profile or clear your data when finished.
  • Browser data. Delete saved progress removes the categories described in Settings but does not erase every Learn record. Clear browser data performs broader local cleanup and signs out this browser. Neither control cancels billing, permanently deletes a server-backed account, removes data on another device, nor automatically erases server records or other people's copies. See privacy choices and deletion.

4. Learning content and AI

LearnStack uses AI and other content sources for units, lessons, questions, grading, feedback, review, similar problems, references, and rubric analysis. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, outdated, or fabricated. Automated scores and learning profiles are estimates for study, not official judgments about a learner.

A requested second grading check is another AI judgment, not a human appeal or certification. Teacher review labels are attestations for an exact test version, not LearnStack expert endorsements. Voluntary assignment reports are self-reported files and must not be treated as authenticated school records. A limited course-material preview, if enabled, provides one sample question and two file-reading attempts per account per 90 days, including failed reading attempts; it does not start a subscription or promise examination coverage.

Pro and Teacher Mode can use permitted rubrics and previous tests to guide original practice. Only submit material you own or have permission to share; do not upload active or restricted exams, confidential answer keys, names, grades or other personal information. You must review extracted text and diagrams for errors. A previous-test blueprint is not an authoritative grading rubric, a reproduction service, or a prediction of a future exam.

  • Check important explanations, calculations, answers, and citations against reliable original sources. References or review labels do not guarantee accuracy or that a source supports every claim.
  • Review content before assigning it to students. LearnStack does not guarantee grades, passing scores, certification, admission, or correspondence with a particular instructor's or exam board's requirements.
  • Medical and professional study is educational only. Do not use generated material to diagnose, treat, prescribe, manage a real patient, or make other high-stakes professional decisions. Use current authoritative materials and qualified professional judgment.
  • Unless expressly stated otherwise, LearnStack is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by an exam board, university, licensing authority, or professional organization named in the service. Exam names identify the subject of preparation. Practice questions are not represented as official exam questions.
  • Do not submit real patient details, confidential student records, payment credentials, or other sensitive information. Use fictional or appropriately de-identified examples that you are authorized to share.

5. Plans and payments

Plan features

  • Pro Mode: $3.99 USD per month. Includes calculator-question generation, rubric-guided simulated exams, and regenerating a similar problem for an individual question where these controls are offered.
  • Teacher Mode: $8.99 USD per month. Includes Pro exam controls plus teacher test-sharing codes and shared-test editing controls. You do not need a separate Pro subscription for the Pro features included in Teacher Mode.

The price, currency, billing interval, applicable taxes, discounts, and purchase terms shown before you confirm checkout apply to that purchase. A paid plan does not promise unlimited requests, uninterrupted generation, a particular AI result, or features not identified in that plan.

Recurring billing and verification

Subscriptions renew automatically at the disclosed billing interval until canceled. By confirming a subscription purchase, you authorize recurring charges as disclosed at checkout. Stripe processes payments through hosted Checkout and provides the billing portal. Do not enter card details into lessons or feedback fields.

Paid access depends on server verification. Pending or failed payments, expired subscriptions, and temporary verification problems can delay or restrict paid features. If payment succeeded but access is missing, use Check payment status where available or contact us with your receipt; do not repeatedly purchase the same plan.

Use Manage subscription for plan changes. Review the effective date and any price adjustment shown in Stripe before confirming. Changes to recurring prices will be disclosed before they apply, with notice and consent where required by law.

6. Cancellation, refunds, and billing help

Stop renewal

Open Settings > Manage subscription, or use Manage subscription in the site's payment options. In the Stripe billing portal, select cancellation and complete the confirmation. Check the confirmation for when renewal stops and paid access ends.

If billing management does not open, you paid in another browser, or this device no longer has its payment reference, email djoseb2007@gmail.com for cancellation assistance. Include the billing email and enough receipt information to identify the subscription. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, or access tokens.

Deleting your account, clearing browser data, uninstalling a browser, or stopping use does not cancel an active subscription. Manage billing before clearing local data. Retain your cancellation confirmation.

Refunds and disputed charges

Cancellation stops renewal according to the confirmed effective date; it does not by itself refund earlier charges. Fees are not refundable solely because you deleted local browser data. For duplicate or unauthorized charges, payment errors, unavailable paid access, or a refund request, contact us with the billing email, charge date, and a description of the issue.

We will review requests under the purchase terms and applicable law. Nothing here removes mandatory refund, withdrawal, cancellation, charge-dispute, or other consumer rights. You may contact your payment provider or an appropriate authority without giving up those rights.

7. Teacher sharing and student use

Teacher sharing copies a test into a temporary share record. The default quick code expires after 15 minutes; closing its panel requests early revocation. You may instead choose a 24-hour or 7-day code before creating it. These longer-lived codes remain available after the panel closes until expiration or revocation. Revocation requires a successful network request and does not remove copies that recipients already opened or saved. Anyone with a valid code can access the shared test and its answer key, so share only with intended recipients and do not include private student information.

  • Anyone with an active code can retrieve its shared content, including questions, answer choices, correct answers, and explanations. A code is not a confidential, proctored, or secure high-stakes examination system.
  • Review and distribute tests only to intended recipients. Do not include identifiable student or patient records, confidential exams, or material you lack permission to share.
  • Recipients may keep copies. Expiry, revocation, or later edits do not erase copies already obtained or guarantee that recipients see revised content.
  • Shared-test answers and completion records are saved in the student's browser. The current sharing flow does not automatically deliver a student score report to the teacher.
  • Teachers remain responsible for appropriate assignments, accessibility arrangements, assessment decisions, and applicable school and privacy requirements.

8. Content and permissions

You retain rights you already hold in submitted prompts, notes, rubrics, questions, and other content. You grant LearnStack and its service providers the limited permission needed to receive, process, reproduce, store, and transmit that content to deliver requested features, including sharing with recipients when you use a share code, and maintain the service's security. This does not transfer ownership of your content.

You must have the rights and permissions required to submit or share material. Do not upload leaked or confidential exam questions or reproduce restricted material without authorization. Personal-information handling and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.

You may use generated material for lawful study, teaching, and other permitted purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable third-party rights. AI output may not be unique, eligible for copyright, or free from third-party claims; LearnStack does not promise exclusive ownership of generated material. References and linked materials remain subject to their owners' rights and licenses.

LearnStack's software, branding, and original site materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Permission to use the service does not grant ownership of its code or trademarks or permission to imply endorsement. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use LearnStack to:

  • Violate laws, privacy or intellectual-property rights, exam confidentiality rules, or applicable academic-integrity requirements.
  • Submit malware, harmful files, unlawful content, or material you are not authorized to process; harass, exploit, or impersonate others.
  • Access another person's data without authorization or bypass subscription checks, security controls, request limits, or access restrictions.
  • Disrupt or overload the service, conduct unauthorized security testing, or automate abusive extraction of content. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law.
  • Misrepresent generated work, scores, or practice questions as official exam results, independently verified advice, or authorized professional certification.

Report suspected security problems privately to the contact below without accessing or sharing other users' information.

10. Other services and sources

LearnStack relies on providers including Cloudflare, OpenAI, and Stripe. External sources and websites you choose to open have their own terms and privacy practices. A reference link is not an endorsement or a guarantee of accuracy, availability, or suitability.

These dependencies can affect availability. Their involvement does not remove obligations LearnStack owes you under applicable law. See provider information in the Privacy Policy for the relevant data flows.

11. Availability and ending use

Features may have request, storage, duration, or technical limits. We may maintain or change the service, correct errors, and restrict access to address misuse, security incidents, nonpayment, or legal obligations. Urgent safety or security action may occur without advance notice; otherwise, we will give reasonable notice of material restrictions where practicable and required.

You may stop using LearnStack at any time. Cancel a subscription separately to stop recurring charges. Contact us to request deletion of identifiable server records; local deletion alone does not remove them.

If a material paid feature is discontinued or access is ended, applicable purchase terms and consumer remedies still apply. Suspension or discontinuation does not override mandatory refund rights or authorize charges not agreed to. Provisions that naturally remain relevant, such as accrued payment obligations, intellectual-property rights, and lawful liability limitations, continue after use ends.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, LearnStack is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, preservation of browser data, the accuracy or suitability of generated content, or educational or professional outcomes.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, LearnStack and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including indirect losses of data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

These limitations apply only where lawful. They do not exclude mandatory consumer guarantees, remedies, or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including for fraud or other conduct for which applicable law prohibits exclusion. If a limitation is not permitted in your jurisdiction, it does not apply to you to that extent.

13. Changes and your rights

We may update these Terms as LearnStack changes. We will identify the version by its effective date, provide additional notice of material changes, and obtain agreement where required by law. Changes do not retroactively remove rights or resolve disputes that arose before they took effect.

Use after an update takes effect is subject to the revised Terms only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Publishing a new version does not alter a previously saved acceptance record or represent that you accepted new terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel any subscription to stop renewal.

Nothing here limits protections under the mandatory laws applicable to you. These Terms impose no mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, or exclusive court location. You may contact us to seek a resolution, but doing so is not a condition on a legal complaint or remedy available to you.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent lawful. A failure to enforce a provision once does not waive the right to enforce it later.

14. Contact LearnStack

For questions about these Terms, subscriptions, access, or content rights, email djoseb2007@gmail.com. Use a subject such as "LearnStack billing help" or "LearnStack terms question."

You can also send a suggestion or report a product problem through Send feedback, without an account or email. This is a private feedback inbox, not a live support chat. Use email for billing, privacy or account requests that need a reply or identity verification. Do not put credentials or confidential records in feedback.

For a content-rights concern, identify the material and its location, explain your rights or authority to act, and provide a way to contact you. For billing help, include the billing email and relevant charge date. Do not send passwords, access tokens, full payment details, or unnecessary sensitive records.
